Animals and people need contact…the magic of touch. We need connection and love. It crosses species, races, gender, country of origin, generation, political or religious ideologies.
Why, then, does it seem so difficult.
Do we fear rejection? Are we filled with self-loathing? Have we been hurt? Do we live as a victim?
It really is quite simple. If we choose to give to others what we wish to get, we are nothing but love and happiness. The golden rule sounds old-fashioned, but when we treat others as we would like to be treated – in spite of rejection, hurt, anger, resentment – the world opens up to us. We create what we yearn to have manifest in our lives.
Maybe that’s the only New Year’s Resolution we need to make.
