ELDOA- Dallas Conference and Practitioner Training begins in three weeks- Nov. 20-24. Below are a few talking points to think about for the next few weeks.
– “The whole is more than the sum of its parts; one part cannot be properly understood in isolation.”
– “What then, are the connections between the mind and the body? Between the Soma and Germen? Between actions, reactions, pro-actions and interactions?”
These were VOYER’s thoughts…
“While working as an intern in a centre for re-education and functional re-adpation, I refused to entertain the concept of prevention for years. I remained obsessed with finding the “magic bullet” that would cure the symptom and thereby solve the problem. I had no understanding of energetic work unless it could be proven within a Cartesian framework.”
The study of research in philosophy, psychology and sociology led to the discovery of complexity models.
-“The body works as a whole…”
Systems theory as presented by Edgar Morin, De Rosnay, Watzalawick, Varella and others confirmed my conviction that the body works as a whole, that only reasoning in synthesis can answer the questions of humanity, that only technology in a network will explain the links that emerge from a holistic base.
