Bridge 7The finishing touches to the new Center are being completed as we speak. We are fortunate to have a great team of committed people working to finish the construction, wiring, and fine details just in time for the first course scheduled in the new school- Applied Training for Sport and Therapy, based upon the work of the SomaTraining and Therapy programs of Guy VOYER, DO. We have a nice size group coming in from all parts including the track and field programs of Harvard, Texas A&M, KU and OU. Class gets started tomorrow at noon with Myo-fascial Stretching for running and track athletes but first, Tensegrity Biomechanics and Functional Anatomy Review! We will keep you posted. Just in case you were curious about the daily syllabus…a different exercise class was built into the program each day at the end of class, leaving the mornings free to review notes, workout in our new gym, or go for run or ride in the Trinity River Levees…we have a few steep inclines that make for a nice sprint/climb and miles and miles of trail! At Legacy, there is no such thing as a practitioner who does not practice the Art of Exercise Science themselves.Stay tuned for a daily update and maybe a few You tube posts on the Legacy TV channel recapping the days events.
