We recommend a client arrive 10-15 minutes early to warm-up before their session begins and Claudia will recommend 1 or 2 things to do upon completion of the TUTORIAL Session.

The purpose of this 30-minute session is for a client to work on different aspects of their Home Program under a watchful eye and make corrections to their quality of their home exercises.

Sessions run every 30 minutes and can be scheduled directly with Claudia in the Business Office.

For an optimal outcome, clients do their program during the week, come for the 30-minute tutorial on Friday and then come to ELDOA Classic on Saturday morning.

or one private session for $50.00

Wellness News

The Saturday morning Wellness Workout Series is gaining more interest! Legacy’s Wellness Program is approaching pre-Covid attendance numbers. For everyone who continues to participate, we thank you, and hope you find the various Wellness Workouts to be beneficial.

If you are new to our Newsletter or Wellness Program, most Saturday mornings each month feature one or more Wellness Workouts to improve the function of your body and compliment your Home Exercise Program. Each Saturday morning feature an ELDOA Classic Workout. The first workout of the morning comes from our extensive group exercise catalog, which focuses on improving the function of any number of systems in your body. Last weekend, for example, we taught a 30-minute Circulatory workout which was followed immediately by an ELDOA Classic Session.

Saturday, May 11, the first class session of the morning is a workout to improve Digestion. Everyone can benefit from this 30-minute session. The workout for digestion features a specific warm-up to facilitate the structures involved in the digestion process. That is immediately followed by a circuit of exercises and the 30-minute session concludes with myo-fascial stretching (MFS). We have received an over-whelming amount of positive feedback for this workout session so don’t miss out this weekend.

If you are new to our community and would like to try an ELDOA workout, check the information on the May Calendar Workouts and Events for a Code for anyone enrolling in their FIRST ELDOA group workout…special pricing to save!

For our clients who live far away or who are unable to regularly attend Wellness Weekend Workouts, we are working on a solution – we call it Legacy Beyond the Walls. Our tentative plan is to offer at least one live-stream wellness workout weekend series a month and to have a catalog of our most popular group workout available to members of our community. If you follow our Newsletter and this new feature is of interest, contact Claudia in the Business Office.

Sports Performance News

In the months of May and June, a portion of the Sports Performance News features the road to the Stanley Cup Championship.

Round 2 begins this week with several members of Legacy’s community in the hunt, and a few other ending their season.

Jake Oettinger and the Dallas Stars play the Colorado Avalanche in Round 2. Staff members of both teams have done training at our School, SomaTraining Texas Institute.

Roman Josi and the Nashville Predators lost to the Canucks in Round 1.

James van Riemsdyk (JVR) and the Boston Bruins defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs in overtime in a thrilling Game 7! Unfortunately, off-season begins for Auston Matthews and “community favorite”. Max Domi. Max was a points leader and played a pivotal role for the Maple Leafs in Round 1. Max is a big fan of the SomaTraining and the ELDOA.

In other Sports Performance News, around the Center this week, Solomon Thomas will be heading back to training with the Jets and the Select high baseball season begins soon. Scott has taught a number of SomaTraining and ELDOA Certification courses for profession teams in baseball. Teams include the Atlanta Braves, the Washington Nationals, and the Los Angelos Dodgers. For more information on the application of the SomaTraining and ELDOA techniques in the sport of baseball, contact Claudia in the Business Office and follow our Newsletter. Later this summer, the Newsletter will feature informative posts specific to the sport of baseball at all levels of competition.

If you are an athlete and unfamiliar with the SomaTraining or ELDOA techniques, these exercises are used by athletes in the four major sports in addition to elite amateur, collegiate and high school players. You do not need to have an injury in order to use the SomaTraining techniques. In fact it is actually the opposite! Scott has found that every athlete needs to include these exercise techniques in their high performance training program. To get started on a program contact the Business Office and set up an evaluation.

Lifestyle & Recovery Center

Spring is here and our Dry Sauna is running exceptionally hot thanks to John Sandstrom and Rob Licht! Our outdoor Recovery Area is beautiful this time of year with the trees and greenery coming into blossom. It creates the perfect environment to relax, recover, and heal.

Throughout the Spring, look for select days when we offer the Cold Plunge option with Dry Sauna and Recovery.

The next Sauna Education (Certification) Course is scheduled for the month of April. Enrollment is limited to eight (8) people: email Claudia directly at claudiadzelazny@gmail.com to sign up.

Topics of discussion include the importance of sweating, what is the optimal time for a single sauna session, what is the optimal temperature to use in a Dry Sauna, how to use cold water exposure by itself, or in combination with the dry sauna, and the importance of drinking water.

As part of the Course Theory, all the participants complete the Ruffier (Pulse) Test. This simple test can be used in different aspects of a Wellness or Sports Performance Program including the length of time in a Sauna Session and exposure to cold water.

In April we plan to host Sauna Courses and Certifications for student-practitioners and our clients.

The Training Table News

the Training Table is where Wellness and Sports Performance begin!

In the Training Table news this week: Bone Broth is available made to order from grass-fed, grass-finished bones, sourced locally.

the Training Table is an area we have dedicated within our Center where clients can set, relax, and enjoy farm fresh high quality meals from Chef Corey and Mia Fradenburg.

In our Newsletter, the Training Table is a section devoted to all topics related to nutrition, cooking, and wellbeing.

We would like to introduce a new member of the Legacy team, Mia.

Mia Fradenburg is interning with us with the goal of learning as much about creating a wellness business as she can. She was introduced to ELDOA by her college volleyball coach, who recommended she come to Dallas to study with Scott and the rest of us. She is bringing her enthusiasm and is already adding some spice to Legacy. Lovely young woman.

Water Bar News

Water is a big deal at Legacy. In fact, water is Nature’s First Medicine.

Buy water in bulk during the month of May. Prices will increase in June. Shipping costs have doubled. We are working on a solution. One idea is a Water Club for those who buy in bulk. We have several clients who take advantage of this service. Once details are fleshed out, it might be something to consider.

Sixty cases of Vellamo were delivered last week. This water has a pH value of 8.3 for those who seek alkaline water. And the taste is delicious.

Essential Oils

Essential Oil Formulas?

One of the most rewarding aspects of Clinical Aromatherapy is creating essential oil formulas for a specific client and a specific purpose.

Often muscle testing is the best way to determine which of several possible oils will be the best combination to accomplish the goal. Many oils have similar constituents and can address the same issue, but with muscle testing the most beneficial oil for my client can be chosen.

The greatest feeling is when a client tells you how successful the formula was in addressing the problem.

I have created formulas for scarring after surgery, ear aches for a child before getting on an airplane, insomnia, and grief-anger-loss after a loved ones’ passing. These are just a few of the many formulas and I would love to craft a formula for you. Claudia

ELDOA Level 3 Dallas: Dates to be announced

If you are an Instructor Candidate looking to assist a course, contact Claudia in the Business Office to be put on the list.

legacyperformwell@gmail.com

We ask all ELDOA Practitioners – at any level -to visit the official ELDOA website – eldoavoyer.com – to make sure your contact information is accurate.

Having your correct contact information is very important: so potential clients can find you and so you can receive important information from the Founder and Administrative Office in Dallas.

The way Legacy has our School set up in Dallas allows for Students to travel from all parts of the country for training and continuing education, while at the same time creating the opportunity to invest some of their personal time in their self-care using our Gym and Lifestyle-Recovery Center. We believe that this one-two combination can’t be beaten and we invite you to enroll in a course with us in 2024.
