2024 GYM CHANGE

DROP IN GYM

$25.00 or $20.00 with a Legacy Card

What is Open Gym and how is it different from a Drop In Gym Session? Legacy Sport & Wellness is a private facility with a Cardiovascular Center, Group Exercise Area, Dry Sauna and Recovery Program, and a fully equipped Gym. These services are reserved for our private clients who have a custom designed Home Program. An Open Gym Session is a specific block of time that we schedule throughout the month in which clients can come and take advantage of the services we have to offer. For example, many of our clients have experienced back pain at some point in their life and our Gym has several pieces of specific equipment to help them which are typically not found in most other facilities.

During Open Gym sessions, often times a workout is written on the white board for clients to follow and post workout myo-fascial stretching/ELDOA exercises are suggested. If necessary, clients are permitted to take shoes and socks off for specific exercises. All the participants who attend Legacy’s Open Gym or Drop In Gym Sessions respect our NO VIDEO policy. Open Gym Sessions are never over-crowded therefore our equipment is always available…no wait for the equipment.

If you have a Home Program, Sauna Card or a Group Class Card, you can drop in and workout in our Gym for $20.00.

Without a card, the fee is $25.00.

Wellness News

Open Gym and Drop-In Gym Sessions provide Legacy clients the opportunity to take advantage of our Gym facility and workout in a gym environment unlike any other.

Talking Point from last weekends Open Gym Tutorial:

•Three Training Classifications – pathology, wellness, and sports performance

•Types of Exercise – global training and movement, segmental exercises, and physical conditioning

•A Proper Gym Sessions, or any exercise session for that matter – begins with a Warmup. A warmup consists of a cardiovascular component, a joint warmup, and movements specific to the goal of the Training Session. At the end of the session, Myo-fascial Stretching and the ELDOA exercises are used before any recovery work, such as Dry Sauna, is used

In the Open Gym Sessions that Legacy schedules, Scott writes a Workout on the white board which includes stretching and ELDOA exercises. Legacy clients with a customized Program are invited to attend and either follow the workout on the board or do their personal program. Legacy Open Gym fee is and Open Gym Sessions can be found on our weekly Calendar of Events.

Wellness Tip: TO BE WELL your structure (your body) needs to be in balance. Every body is different! We all have a different path and our goals are not the same. For that, the best solution is a customized Program. A customized program includes the exercises your body specifically needs in conjunction with global training exercises and physical conditioning. Ask yourself this: how much time do you spend planning your long term wellness goals and how much money do you spend, if any, with your wellness advisor? Does your wellness advisor have the tools necessary to accomplish your personal goals?
