As practitioners are introduced to exercise modalities like the ELDOA, Global Postural Stretching, and Myofascial Stretching, often times they are combined incorrectly, either in client programs or group classes. While this is an innocent mistake in the beginning, it is
one that needs to be corrected. ELDOA and MFS with respect to group classes are best separated. It may be easier to combine the two because it appears that the two have similar traits but the goals of these two exercise modalities are quite different. What a practitioner does for the sake of their business model does not necessarily correlate to the physiology of the body and the goal of an exercise.
