In this week’s Sport & Wellness Newsletter, we recap the month of November and forecast the remainder of 2023.
Movember, the month formerly known as November, is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide. Scott did a Wellness Exercise Tutorial about using the abdominal exercises to affect the prostate.
You can expect to see more exercise tutorials in 2024 under the title, YOUR BODY: HOW IT WORKS.
In past issues of the Newsletter, we have reported on Solomon Thomas and his Foundation, The Defensive Line, which he started with his parents, Chris and Martha.
The Mission Statement: To end the epidemic of youth suicide, especially for young people of color, by transforming the way we communicate and connect about mental health.
In the month of December, the Legacy Newsletters will discuss each of our Foundational Principles and how we organize them to create a modern Sports Performance and Wellness facility –
Legacy Sport & Wellness – A Center of Excellence.

The ELDOA Classic Group Workout is a centerpiece in our exercise and training programs. For nearly two decades, the Center has scheduled several ELDOA Group Workouts each month and we encourage everyone who is a member of our community to participate in them. The results speak for themselves…there is simply no other exercise modality that can compare to the ELDOA.
The ELDOA Group Workout will appear on the schedule as follows: ELDOA Classic.
What is an ELDOA Classic Workout?
The ELDOA Classic Group Workout is a 60-minute session. This class is for everyone: all ages ranging from teenagers to senior citizens. The session includes a well-organized warm-up and cool down, and the body of the class is composed of the postures of the spine (the most beneficial ELDOA for everyone) and a few postures for either the shoulders, the hip, or pelvis.
To learn more about the benefits of the ELDOA, we invite you to attend the first two hours of the ELDOA 1 Certification Saturday morning December 16 immediately following the ELDOA Classic Group Workout (9:00 am).
