With wear and tear from training, sport competitions and age, the nucleus propulsis begins to dehydrate thus limiting the capacity of the disc to absorb shock. The discs in our spine work as shock absorbers. The “skin of the disc” (annulus fibrosis) becomes weaker increasing the potential of tearing. Cartilage end plates begin thinning and fissures begin to form. There is an exercise that works to normalize this process and allows a person to continue to thrive regardless of the age of their tissues or the degeneration in the spine: the ELDOA. Less than 5 minutes a day, using the ELDOA in a home program, will yield life-lasting results. To learn more about this powerful exercise system contact Legacy Sport & Wellness Center in Dallas.
