Maybe you have heard of the ELDOA created by French Osteopath Guy VOYER DO. If you haven’t, the ELDOA is a group of exercises that use the fascial chains to normalize the body and create space in specifically targeted joints.
To learn more about the ELDOA see archived posts on the Legacy Sport & Wellness Center’s website- www.legacyperformwell.com
One misconception about the the ELDOA is- “that it is only for people with injuries.” This is not true.
The ELDOA ,when applied properly, can have great success with injured clients, be they the general public or athletes. But the ELDOA should be part of every athlete’s training program. To play a sport, especially at a high level, is destructive to the body.
The ELDOA, and Myo-fascial Stretching, when combined with proper sport-specific training, enhances athletic performance, leading to faster recoveries, and “PR’s”- personal bests, Olympic medals and world championships.
The Legacy Sport & Wellness Center has consulted with numerous individual athletes from a myriad of professional and olympic sports including- NBA basketball, NHL hockey, PGA and LPGA Golf, and world-class track and field.
Additionally, Legacy continues to consult with sports franchises and ownership groups regarding the implementation of training programs for their athletes and the ELDOA.
Nov 20-24 in Dallas, the Legacy Sport & Wellness Center is hosting the largest ELDOA Conference to date in North America at the Hilton Anatole.
