Part II of my Stretching Commentary (see part I below) and today’s post as part of April’s Fitness & Sport month is- “Use Myo-fascial Stretching after sport competitions, practice and training sessions, or in the case of myself after skiing all day, to normalize tissues and improve performance.” At the Legacy Sport & Wellness Center all of the athletes we consult with are taught to use their MFS program after training with the objective being to normalize their tissue from the effects of training or competition. For leisurely clients like myself, the strategy is the same… after a full day of skiing, come back and do key stretches to normalize the tissues for a full-day of activity again tomorrow. Tomorrow’s post, part of my commentary on stretching, will be a brief case history per PART I’s commentary yesterday.
