This is an excerpt from a December 5, 2016 email to Scott Herrera from Ben’s dad Kyle Patranella:
Scott, You have been a blessing for Ben and our family. You have done an incredible job in helping Ben both physically and mentally – and by extension his parents! I cannot say than you enough.
Please continue to help Ben…he continues to have challenges, but none that we feel cannot be overcome with your help. Ben has succeeded in gaining full confidence from his coaches. In the Fall one-on-one wrap up meeting with his coaches, they conveyed to him that he is one of the best athletes they have. Know that Ben has great respect for you and relies on your knowledge and assessment to guide him.
