The piriformis is the most important muscle for the management of the Autonomic Nervous System.  All the connections for the ANS are along the spine.  The ganglion converge in a big jumble and the disperse in other directions.  In front of the piriformis we find the colon, bladder and sex organs.  The muscles in front of the vertebrae have a huge relationship with the plexus.  It would be wise to know how to stretch the tight fascia of the IMG_2008_2piriformis.
