Diaphragm Tips

By August 27, 2014December 9th, 2014Daily Posts/Tips

Breathing is a topic that repeatedly comes up in wellness circles with breathing classes, boxes and meditation all recommended to make changes in the tissues… and all of those modalities can do that. We must not forget that structure governs function, which translates to mean that restricted tissue in any of the diaphragmatic tissue or the structures in link with it (which are numerous, spanning from the thoracic cage, fascia of the lungs, nervous tissue and more) can ALL create restriction and therefore a change in breathing. Breathing is one of the most clear examples of a holistic model in the human body as it involves so many structures and types of tissue that it cannot be reduced to simply a series of patterns.
