Stop Being ‘Your Own Worst Enemy’

Do things not work out the way you want them to…is it difficult for you to achieve your goals…to even set goals?

It is possible you do not overcome obstacles and achieve ‘greatness’ because you don’t think you deserve this.

Self-sabotage is one way in which we guarantee self destruction. We create stumbling blocks, impediments to successful completion of tasks or performance, even relationships. Procrastination, overindulgence and fear of failure are all methods of self-sabotage.

Which one do you use? If you don’t feel you are worthy of love, success, happiness, good health, you will find ways to become a self-fulfilling prophecy. The good news is that these habits can be unlearned. The same energy you put into self-sabotage can be used to turn that ship around. Get a life coach if you feel you need one.

Look in the mirror and tell yourself you love you! Remember Stuart Smiley (Al Franken) on SNL? “I deserve it. Because I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and, doggonit, people like me!”
