SomaPractitioner Tip

By June 1, 2014August 1st, 2016Anatomy & Biomechanics

When discussing anatomy and taking courses in the SomaPractitioner Programs, the classic origin-insertion-function model is of the least importance. Anatomy, in the SomaPractitioner programs, is taught in such a way that it respects Tensegrity Biomechanics and Functional Anatomy Principles… this translates to mean, “Know the relationships with other structures and the links”. In the example of the Fascia Iliaca, the skin of the Ilio-psoas, 10 or more links come to mind off the top of my head.
